I'm very new to PSE 10.Was trying to rotate an image. I;m used to Iphoto and the change happens immedaitley immediately. In PSE the little clock comes on and it takes a good 5-10 sec. Does anyone else have this problem? I'm using my Mac laptop and recently iphoto is starting to freeze up as well. Computer vs PSE?

Computer. Maybe, not enough memory?
In my PSE10, it is not instant, but it is less than half a second.

In my world, that's the same thing.

It could be ram memory, but it also could be not enough Hard drive space left. You should have at least 20% of your hard drive free to get optimum speed.

I actually called apple and had tech support walk me through a clean up of my cache. Seems to have done the trick.
Thank you all for your help
