Hello All,
My name is Bill and I live in beautiful upstate New York. I started out with a little Brownie many years ago and did some 35mm SLR work but recently going into the digital age so I look forward to any constructive comments and the opportunity to pick the brains of any of you that are willing.

Thanks everyone for making me feel so welcome. I'm still learning composition, subjects and the best use of lighting so please be gentle. Again thank you all for the warm welcome. This were taken in the Battenkill area which usually has better fall colors. I especially like the cat in the barn.

I really like the compositions of 1 and 2; we're nicely led further into these attractive autumn scenes.
#3 - maybe consider cropping some out of the foreground in order to make your composition stronger (possibly the green ladder too, though maybe not :) ). The cat peeking from behind the rough wood makes for a very interesting shot!
Consider posting some shots to Photo Gallery, or one of the smaller sub-forums, where more folks will see them!

Used to live in Upstate NY, and spent a lot of time in the Finger Lakes region and the Adirondacks around Raquette Lake.
