I've been "hoping" that all my life. It doesn't work. The courses are not expensive - around $250, but I'm not about to travel out west to sit in a room and have some guy tell me how to use my camera.

I wonder how the Galapagos session works. I didn't think that it was populated with motels and restaurants. I thought it was a spot tourists were taken to by boat so they could look at the wildlife.

Nope, just a long weekend. I was wrong, its only $2300 (Plus 6% tax which puts it close to the $2500), here is the link. Not a very intensive shoot schedule either, lots of windshield time it sounds like.

I've been to a few in NYC that were either free or $25. They'd be a large meeting room full of people, with the instructor using a projector. Participants got a generous supply of material. Pretty good for the price, and it was day in the City.
