When God spoke to Jesus in John's gospel (12:28-30), some said it thundered. In my experience, God has spoken in the silence when Ive been still enough to know that God is God. Either way, its important to listen.
Jeeez! That was profound!
How do you differentiate between what GOD says and what's in the deep recesses of you mind?

He doesn't. It is ALL in the puddle deep recesses of his mind. Actually, I think he must know it's all a bunch of hooey. Otherwise, he wouldn't have to post about it all day. For instance, he KNOWS gravity works. He never posts about gravity. But he's unsure about whether god exists. That's why he posts about it/him/her. To validate a belief in a myth.
I stopped talking to god after he told me to go screw myself.
Walsch, as I recall from his book 'Conversations With God' got his proof that God exists when he desperately asked a question and immediately heard a reply -
"Oh God - why me?"
"Nothing personal. Just that your name came up."
Lyrics from Fleetwood Mac's "Oh, Well":
Now, when I talked to God I knew he'd understand
He said, "Stick by my side and I'll be your guiding hand
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to"

Ive talked with hundreds of religious and non-religious people about prayer, in both this country and a dozen others. Ive observed that people who pray mostly only at meals or in other perfunctory ways seem to seldom if ever listen for God in the silence. The same is true for those who pray primarily in emergencies. There are people, however, for whom prayer is a lifestyle. They pause to be still and know that God is God. How frequently and how accurately they listen to God in the silence seems to reflect both the fullness and richness of a persons prayer life. That differentiation comes naturally with practice.

They have no idea of what you are talking about. They would rather mock you and God before trying to understand the mean of "listening for the voice of God".
Keep up you good works, rather they know it or not we all need to hear the good news of God's salvation for mankind.

Nope. I know what he's talking about. He's talking about the inner peace that silence can bring. He's talking about the power of meditation. He just confuses his own thoughts with a "creator's".
He's an atheist, at least when it comes to the 3000 religions man has created throughout the history of humanity. He doesn't believe in Thor, or Zeus, or Ukko, or Baal, or Mithra (whose story, like many of the ancient gods, is unbelievably like Jesus' - virgin birth, son of god, rises from the dead, etc) or any of those. In fact, he's a vehement atheist when it comes to 2999 of those 3000 religions. Doesn't believe a word of any of that falderal, of any of that clearly goofy stuff.
Nope. Now he just has to come to his senses about the one religion that he and you think is real.

Wow...now you read minds?

Who knows....maybe one day one of the "mockers" will understand. And yes, we all do need to hear about God's salvation.

whoever or wh**ever GOD is IS very different from the unbelievable fairytale that has been handed down in the Bible.
...but don't worry, she won't be pissed.... it's not in her nature.
