I was stationed at ft. Richardson outside anchorage in the 50s.your shots bring back good memories.Moose used to walk all over the base.
Great shots. I used a argus C - 3 then.

Glad to bring memories back to you. A lot has changed since that time, not every second door is a bar anymore as you might remember. However, a couple years ago I saw a moose right at the airport blvd.

I got to pause at Elmandorf Air base on the way to Fort Greely in Delta Junction. Moose were as common as flies with buffalo wandering the Post(all protected and harmless). My first morning after arrival(it was dark as it was winter and 99.999% dark), I open the door to go to work. The biggest damn head with eyes was about a 2 feet in front of me. Went back in to change my clothes and get some CPR.
