Sorry if I posted some double. I'm new and learning the post. But I am trying to get some feed back on my photos. Thanks again

No.3 is a ripper Trey...can you please explain the second one?
Ron.
Thanks Ron. And the second one I was experimenting with still shot and action in the same frame. I've also got into learning more with selective color. So in this photo on a rail in New orleans I selected black and white on everything out side of the Window that is in motion.

Welcome. I really like your shot of that alligator. Looks very ominous. The black and white really sets a mood. Scary looking.
Thank you mad mike! I really dig the black and whites. I've come along way in the three years I've been going at it. I'm glad to see another who enjoy the same passion also enjoy my photos:)
Your model in the first image,, though lovely, needs a little skin softener. Suggest you find someone else to apply it.
Good work, like your thought pattern on the train. Not a particular fan of sele tive color, but like the two shots at once seperated by the train wall.

Welcome to UHH. You'll find lots of folks here like B&W. You're off to a good start.

I like the gator in #1. Maybe a little more contrast for me but that's personal taste.
#3, absolute keeper. I like everything about it, clear down to the sliver of moon.
#2, this is the controversial one. I will never be a fan of selective color, but you're trying to do two things at once, selective color and motion vs still, and I just think it's overkill. It's like looking at two unrelated photos side by side.
PLEASE repost #2 WITHOUT the selective color and I think it would be a clear winner too.
Whatever you do, keep it up, you have a good eye for what makes a photo work!
Thank you Larry. I will repost #2 with no selective color but it will have to be at a later time due to the fact that I'm not near my computer. But I have one similar saved to my phone. It does show movement and still but no on coming train. Again thank you for your criticism. Much appreciated!
Yes, I LIKE that. Now the two sides have a common ground.
Thanks again Larry. I do see what your saying. And on the selective color aspect. Although you don't like them, what do you think of this one?
