I have {as most everyone else} downloaded PS2014, my question is.... now I have 2014 and have used it and not had any problems! I am thinking of deleting CC as I do not use it anymore, the problem is, every time I do something like this it affects my current program!! has anyone else deleted cc with out problems? thank you

Provided you have not got presets, actions and plugins in PSCC, there should be no problem with uninstalling.

You can deactivate it.

Are you not using it because you found another program or because you are using Lightroom instead? If you're still using the CC version of Lightroom, you get Photoshop anyway. Unless it is taking up that much room on your hard drive, you're paying for it, might as well keep it. You never know when you might get the bug to try it again.

OP is not using PSCC because he now has PSCC 2014 - the latest of the PS series.

Ahhh....My apologies to all. I wasn't understanding that from the original post. Makes much more sense now.

I do subscribe to the $9.99 lightroom / photoshop cc,
a couple months ago Adobe upgraded photoshop cc to photoshop 2014, so now "CC" is out of date. I use photoshop all the time,
I just am trying to stay organized! if I don't need it, or it is out of date I do not want it!! as hard drive space is at a premium! and yes I have several external hard drives, to store photos on

One thing in the new version has been eliminated, that being the oil paint filter. There may be others also that aren't in the new version that fill a need of yours so make sure you don't need anything from a prior version before removing it.

I wish I could but don't know what they've changed in total. I was warned about the oil paint filter since many really liked it, but was not informed of the other changes.

You're welcome. The reason I said something is that I figure if you let a leased program go it's gone and you can't get it back. In the past we had CS4 or CS5 and we could always re-enter it if necessary since we owned it----not so anymore. I suspect in the help area of Adobe's site you can ask the question and they'll tell you what's been removed.
