Yesterday I had the pleasure of being a VIP guest on the liberty ship John Brown in the harbor.,, along with former blue angel pilots and some wonderful WWII B-17 vets. The weather did not cooperate it rained all day and at the last minute at 4 pm deadline it cleared for the Blue Angels to do a short routine. Sunny or cloudy they are terrific .i would have preferred sun! The cloudy weather was not so good for photos! These were taken with my new D810 and a 150 to 500 sigma, next time we will go for the sun, The equipment is great . The photographer is still in the clouds.

Tangled in flight!

Just love those clouds

Thanks Jim , Yes these guys are tops! As a former pilot, I never flew jets, I came see the smile on each one of their faces as they fly by!

Nice shots Lenf. they were at a show up here earlier in the summer. Most of the weekend it rained, so don't know if they flew. Hopefully I can catch them if they come back.

Thanks for the comment rlaugh, I have a lot of requests for the angle of attack photo, I took that with the 150-500 sigma.
