How often we escape to nature to observe its beauty only to find that some uncaring slob thought nothing of dumping their un-natural waste into the environment. The Tri-colored heron was posing right in back of someones plastic trash. What a shame. Please try the download.

A very nice picture but for the trash. Nice exposure.

I can't agree with you enough about the prevalence of trash in the environment. I just hate it. I am tired of even walking around cities and seeing not only trash but cigarette butts on the ground by the millions. I can't ever remember throwing trash on the ground because my parents taught me from a child that it is trash and somebody has to pick it up. I wonder what happened to the parents of the millions of people throughout the world who throw trash on the ground. Did they just not tell their kids it is wrong?

Sorry for the rant.

Dennis

No problem Dennis, you can rant about this subject any time. Nature spoiled by uncaring people is just sickening. Thanks for stopping by and the comments that at least parallel mine. Thanks again.

Glad you liked the photo Manglesphoto, I probably shouldn't have ranted on a photo post, but the beauty of the shot was in jeopardy. Thanks for visiting and your nice comment.

Beautiful shot Jim, and I so agree...
people are lazy only care about themselves and not the earth and the creatures that gives us so much beauty....
and this is why Mother Nature gets angry at times.

Thanks for calling our attention to this, Jim. Unfortunately, you see it everywhere, from birds and animals tangled in monofilament to trash in the water. People are either totally ignorant or just don't care.

Yes Jim, that is one of my pet hates. Our countryside is blighted with rubbish dropped by thoughtless idiots. But it is a good shot regardless of the plastic bottle.

Where's that crying Native American when you need him? That old ad worked well.

Nice shot of the bird. I suppose you could always clone out the bottle, but it's shame you even have to. Pigs.
