Any advise on this is appreciated. Henry's has a very good price on a NIKON AF-S VR MICRO NIKKOR 105mm f2.8G/NANO CRYSTAL COAT. What is your experience with this company? Good or Bad????

Henrys is here in Canada and is a Canadian company. I've purchased from their retail stores many times. I would say their reputation is very good. Since I've been happy with the product line I've not gone through any return process so I am unable to comment on that.

have priced there photo equipment about the same except for the shipping.If you buy used try KEH have shopped there and have been pleased.MOst of my equipment is use d so far very good results.shop around it payes!

I have gone to Henrys a few times here in Ontario...in Mississauga they have an Outlet Centre and the prices are fairly reasonable. Now, with that said, I have purchased most of my equipment from Downtown Camera here in Toronto...they are pretty close to where Henrys Camera is downtown. They are quite a bit cheaper than Henrys for the same exact item. The only things I have purchased at Henrys has been my D7000 body and my monopod. Otherwise, everything else has been purchased at Downtown Camera.

I agree about Downtown Camera. It is a small enough shop to develop a relationship with the sales staff and owners and obtain excellent personal service. They price more competitively than Henrys, and they have great selection and knowledge.
Henrys will compete, but you have to come in with a competitor's price in hand. Otherwise they will grab the low hanging fruit, (i.e. customers who will pay the higher price as listed.)
If you are shipping across borders, it is probably preferable to buy from within your country. It is just less hassle if there is a service-warrantee issue. You will know if the product is grey market or not, and whether you can obtain local service.
Still some will opt for the international purchase if the price is right. I would do a little more research first to see if you can get what you want locally at a price that you are happy about paying.

Henry's in Canada has an excellent reputation and their sales staff are knowledgeable. I always buy my equipment there.

I use them for everything and would not think of buying anything elsewhere. The staff is great and I walk in with prices from elsewhere and they match it no questions asked. Even after buying from them I found a cheaper price and they refunded me the difference. Not sure if all locations are the same but the one I use help me even if I am not purchasing anything.

I just ordered a used lens from KEH. Unlike every other vendor, they charge heavily for shipping plus Calif. sales tax. Paid almost 20% more. I did it because of their reputation on the Hog, but they will not be high on my list.
