I can see why you couldn't decide between b&w and this stunning color shot! Very beautiful.

On this one, I'd consider cloning out the branches on the left. They seem to be more intrusive than in the b&w.

Bud, I think that is an awesome photograph. You have captured the depth of the view perfectly, from the branch closest all the way back to the mountain peaks. It almost looks 3 dimensional.

Were I to try anything different with it , that would only be to lighten the shadows a bit.

Looked back at you black and white version which is also excellent. Have you tried a sepia version? I think that would be fantastic.

Just made a couple of quick, easy changes. It may or not be to your liking - that's up to you to decide since it is your photo and you were there.

Don't be afraid to try things, you can always go back to the original and leave it or try again. I'm not very good at editing either, but can't learn without trying.
