i have so many pictures to this story that i will have to make a continuing thread- so watch for them to follow the first.
Out my patio doors i saw 3 doe with 7 fawns eating in my backyard, then movement of another larger body.
The light was already dimming for the night because we had a storm go through. Hence i could not tell whom it was.
So i closed the blinds and came to my office to read my emails. about 15 minutes later, all of a sudden a lot of fawns running all over the front lawn by my window- then the 3 doe as well. drinking and eating the grass.
Then the Mystery man arrived and the commotion began.
Moms sister was not happy to have that buck near the fawns and the chasing and fighting started.
The photos are not the sharpest since the movement was to darn fast for me to capture it all.. Please follow along.
They look like great shots to me. Well done.

Oh She was so ticked off at him.
For all i know it was her son from 2 years ago.
She was so ticked that when she went around the house- i went to my bedroom window and called to her.
that made it worse because her fawns crowded her in and she took a foot to one of them too.
i left well enough alone after that.
I bet anything shes got it in for me now- she'll eat every plant I have out there!
:)

With the snow and cold coming on friday- i am sure the whole of the garden will be toasted and it will be happy eating for them. There goes all of my hard work and the tomatoes were just getting red.
I can't believe she ran him off! Yea, mama! Good job! And excellent shots, Marilyn! Loved following the story!
