weekly challenge in DPS

Do you have to have a web sharing account in order to post a photo for the weekly challenge. I want to post one, but Im not on Flickr or any other sharing site.

It seems you DO have to have a web service to post images. There doesn't seem to be the option that we have here to upload from your hard drive. There are many photo sites that allow a certain amount of photos to be uploaded to a free account. The only restriction is the amount of photos allowed. They mention certain ones but I would expect any of them would do as long as you have the correct URL.

i post from my hard drive all the time. that's whats unique about the hog, unlike other sites where you post the link to your flickr or photobucket account. when you create your post go to the three boxes under where you typed click browse choose the drive where "MY PICTURES" IS ON (USUALLY C DRIVE. OPEN MY PICTURES. scroll down to the folder where the photo you want to post is located open folder select photo click on open voila! hit send DO NOT HIT PREVIEW as it will clear out the photo you selected. depending on how busy the site is you may have to wait a little while for the phot to finish downloading.

I know how to post to this site. I just wanted to post these photos to the weekly challenge in DPS. The subject is street photography.

I have been getting the DPS assignments and challenges and doing my own pictures with them and never entered. However, I entered this week's and posted my picture as one my daily pictures on 365project.org. I put the lable in the description and copied the URL address and posted that in DPS. I will see if it works.

I just set up my Flickr acct. Tried post it to the DPS. It said that I had the wrong address. Will try again tomorrow night. Its late here.
