Hand held shot of the moon.

Last night I took my first photo of the full moon using the 600mm setting on my Tamron 150-600mm lens. I used Photoshop Elements 12 for contrast and slight sharpening.
I did not not use any extenders.

Thank you, mikeroetex. What I'm trying to say here is that you don't need any special equipment except for your camera and lens and a steady hand.

Thank you, Angela. For a hand-held shot, it's not to shabby compared to better moon photos that used a tripod, tel-extenders, etc.

Great image, lovely sharpness and detail. How you hand hold a 600mm lens I'll never know. I can't hold a 28-135mm, let alone my 200mm.
