They are 15 months old now but still won't sit still enough for a portrait. Grab shots taken with D7000/35mm@f1.8/ISO 6400
Wonderful dogs I had several over many years, never did have one that would sit for pictures
Great shot of beautiful dogs. It's amazing how well the latest breed of camera handles ISO 6400.
About 25yrs ago, when I lived in NJ, we owned a 155lb Rottie we called "bear".
He was this gentle giant that the kids tugged and hugged and played with and even occasionally rode on. He was also very protective of my kids.
Not long before we moved to NM, bear got cancer and never made the move with us.
Now we have a pair of Bichons that each weigh less than 1/10th what bear weighed.
Great shots of some really cute dogs.
I have a 100lb Rottweiler lap dog (at least that's what HE thinks he is) and he's probably one of the sweetest dogs I've ever had. They're incredibly smart ... I'd even venture to say 'cunning' at times ... and I just love him to pieces.
Oh - and my Rottie turns his back whenever I get my camera out ... anybody know of a place that specializes in butt pics of dogs??? I have hundreds to sell them ... !!! :)

Loc: Finally decided to plop down, Clover, S.C.
Great companions, my Mackie recently passed from cancer and failing kidneys. He was part of the team that helped me get through my cancer. He refused to leave my side during treatment and recovery. Best companion I ever had and is greatly missed.
Thank all of you for the comments. I see I'm not the only one having problems getting pictures of these active dogs.
Awwww, they're gorgeous, nimbushopper! Cute girls, too!
lovely dogs and very nice shots
