Just google "Download Nikon D300 manual" and it will take you to a link to download the pdf file. or if it is a D3000, add another 0 to the D300.

You can then print it out; if you have a printer...lots of pages though.

There have been many posts on here from members who have taken the PDF version of their owners manual to Staples or such and had it printed out with a spiral binding for very cheap. If you don't have a PDF version already, you should be able to find one for free on the manufacturers website.

Start here for hard copies (about $9 each):

Try manualsink.com. Reasonable price and quick delivery. The thing I like best is their manuals lay flat .

These two books are paperbacks, but very durable. I hate the instruction manuals that come with Nikon cameras. the damn things keep me jumping around all over the manual.

I bought Nikon D3000 for Dummies and Davis Busch's Nikon D3000 Guide. I have not had any questions about my D3000 that I was unable to find the answer in one or both of the books. When I gave my D3000 to a starving college student I also gave her the books. I now use a D5300 and D7000. I have the appropriate books for them also.

once you find it, you can download it to your smart phone or tablet and always have it with you too
