6D, 24-70 Tamron for Zoo? and 11-16 Tokina for Aquarium? Is this a good match?

Sounds good to me. I would also recommend you get a rubber lens hood so you can press the hood on the aquarium glass. This will do two things.

1. Prevent glare
2. Most likely won't make the aquarium staff upset because if you use a plastic lens hood it may scratch the glass and I have been told the staff really frown upon that. Good luck and have fun. :)

Depends on the zoo and the size, particularly the depth (retreat distance) permitted to the animals.
The Tamron 24-70 is a bit short ofvreach for many zoo images. The Tamron 18-270 is, in my estimation, the ideal "zoo visit" lens. Handles both the Aquarium, cage, and walk-through aviaries very well.

I agree with Dave. I recently took my granddaughter to the zoo and took only my Nikon 24-85 lens. While I got some neat photos it did not have the reach to photograph animals across the enclosure in an African savannah type area.
