This shot was made aboard my sailboat, using a Nikon F4 and Ektachrome film. Image scanned from a slide.
I must correct an error in the above post - the shot was made with a Nikion F2 - not an F4 - which was not on the market when this was made.
Whatever camera it was, it and you made a great photo.

Yes. There was no other viable choice.
I like it. The horizontal lines are peaceful, yet the 45 degree stantions ad excitement. Nice picture.
It's in the eyes and heart. Not the camera. Ok give some credit to Ektachrome. In any event...well done. It's nice to see a straight horizon. Great composition particularly the leading line, the triangles in the sail and the dangling rope that abruptly stops the eye from wandering. I am curious if you also took a vertical shot as it would make for a great cover for boating, travel, etc. A warm peaceful location (that night at least) Well done. Nice scan.
