Let me introduce myself

My user name is Elsiss and I am a new member to this wonderful forum. Like many of the members here, I started my love of photography when I was 12 years old with my father's Kodak Brownie. When I was old enough to get a job, I saved up for a Pentax Spotmatic 2 that I got grey market from Hong Kong. Loved it, progressed to a Nikon F and used those film cameras for the last time in 2000. Slowly got my interest back for a DSLR after using a point and shoot until 2008, when I bought and loved a Nikon D40. Upgraded to a Nikon D7000 and have been enjoying it ever since. Lenses I have used are: 18-55, 35mm, 18-200 and 100 Macro. I am a retired industrial arts teacher and I thank you for listening to my long-winded introduction. P.S., I enjoy nature , landscape, and taking candid shots of my grandchildren. My friends call me Larry!
