Have a Canon F4-5.6 IS L 70-300mm usm lens.
Like to purchase a very realiable tripod collar.
Should I go for a canon, or can anyone reconmend a differant brand. Price for a canon is pricy.
Need your opinions.

I have the Nikon 300 f4 af-s, great lens but lousy collar. I bought a Kirk and it might be my best money spent.....

There is no way I would trust another ring on that camera other than Canons, more expensive yes, but worth it. I have all my lens with their collars. Didn't the collar come with the camera?

I checked it out and the only two they had were for Nikon. The only sites that seem to have it are Chinese; no chance of getting my money back.
