I've been working on my AP and I've been uplooking since after my accident in 74', I suffered a" severe head injuryand spine injury" so uplooking was a safe activity. It wasn't until my friend asked why I didn't try my hand at AP, that in fact it was possible and I've not looked back. I want to pick your skilled brains and become a better imager of terrestrial as well as Celestrial. I'm sure I can learn from all of you , it just takes me longer to comprehend "it's been 1/1/2 years and I'm still imaging the moon, it's time to move up to deep space and planets.
Welcome back to the Hog, stepping_beyond. I'm sure there are a number of Hoggers who will be glad to step up and offer some good advice.
Thanks Nick and I was raised just outside of Cincinnati, "GO REDS" when I was in the hospital recovering from my accident I met with JB and talked with my hero for an hour all by myself behind closed doors. That was so very cool.
Behind every cloud there's a bright spot. You found yours. Glad you're recovering and getting back to photography.
I'm not a native Buckeye. I'm originally from North Carolina and spent 22 years in the Air Force. My wife is originally from Monterey, CA. We met, got married, and all 3 of our kids were born in Denver, CO. I retired from the Air Force in 1988 and the U. S. Dept. of Agriculture last year. We moved to Columbus to play grandma & grandpa to our daughter's kids. We'll probably stick around here until they move.

Thank yall for the welcome back, clarifying my life altering accident was when I was 9yrs. old {fell out of tree on my head 30 ft. up {r. side was paralyzed} through PT regained some movement. My life is what it is , somedays are better than others . I do most of my living through photos and the internet, I have a Z10 reflector and 80eq refractor imaging with both. I'm limited to what I can do and a disabled astronomer.
