Tamron 150-600mm lens shot at 600mm from about 25 feet distance under cloudy skies so I upped the ISO a little.

Thank you, merrytexan. The light from the cloudy skies was streaking in the right direction making the shot a little more colorful than normal.

Great photo, Regis - catching birds just right can be so challenging. The more I see of your Tamron photos the more I want the lens - it is a great tool for you!

Thank you very much, dugole. The Tamron 150-600mm lens would be a good fit for your camera.

Thank you, Paula. The bird feeder under this Blue Spruce tree is keeping him or her well fed.

Thank you, Al. I have cousins in Boise, but I have never been there because it's a longer drive there than Seattle where I have relatives and the Ocean so I would rather go West than South, but you don't have to shovel as much snow. No place is perfect, but I love living here in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho.
