Erv, if you have time for a nice drive, do the Mission peninsula. Lot of wineries and a neat lighthouse at roads end. Also a very unique old store I am sure you would enjoy. It is a great side trip. We do it every year when we go up to Mich.

Thank you! I think it is on the list, but if not it is now.:):) Now make the weather better for me. Haven a good time with the kids but want to get some good pictures as we go around the area.:) The haze sure gets in the way.:):) I should have brought the Haze and Rain filters.:):)

Great pictures from my home town. The Maritime Academy was not there when I was growing up. It was established by the same folks which founded and developed Northwester Michigan College, a community college with high regard. It has placed many students "on board" commercial vessels throughout the country, with their "ticket" and a career plan to work themselves up to officer status.

Rain did us in the last trip also. First time for that.

They sure keep it nice looking. Even the outside of the boat looks nice. I tried to go in and look around, but the doors were locked.
