making a rain hood

It's raining......I took a draw string trash bag, tied it around the camera lens and cut the end out of it.....shazaam.....a 10 cent rainhood!!!
I put the trash bag over my head........turned the camera on and frick, no pic......I'm pissed and start turning every dial and lever on the gizzmodad..................then I realize the battery is in the charger.
I put the battery in the gizzmodad....switch it to the on position and Shazaaaaam............NOTHING..... I have a convulsion and faint.......My wife dials 911........The Paramedics arrive and look for the cause to the mysterious affliction ..............after a 30-second investigation they take off the lens cap.............I'm doing fine and breathing....but this coat they gave me is a little tight.

LOL, thank you for keeping me smiling. :lol: Maybe you should add checking to see if lense cap is on into your routine before you faint. It could save you a lot of fees for the paramedics services.

My mother used to do that with me. Only she used dry cleaning bags. She would tell me that we were playing Martian because I would turn all sorts of colors. I wonder if that was happening with you? Lol.
