The other day I saw a bumper sticker that said: Are you still voting Democrat? Then you're stuck on stupid. I chuckled thinking I should get one and put it on the 'left' side of my car. I should also get one that says: Are you still voting Republican? Then you are stuck on stupid. And put it on the 'right' side of my car.

Since we got away from chrome bumpers, the use of bumper stickers has declined. I'd never put one on my car.
It's interesting to see what cars have what stickers on them. Very often, I'll see a Subaru wagon with the tailgate covered with environmental stickers. BMW, Cadillac, M-B - not much sticker activity.

At least the better bumper stickers these days are made with an adhesive that allows the stickers to be removed when the election is over - or if someone changes their mind...

How did we end up with so many stupid, sleazy people, from both parties, end up supposedly representing us. Seems to me they are only interested in their own personal agenda. Where did we, the voters, go wrong.

Most don't change their minds, unfortunately. Interesting tidbit: Next time you are driving on a divided highway, watch the left lane and see how many drivers stay in it that have bumper stickers touting liberal causes or candidates.
