Beautiful Rainbow Lorikeets and Sulphur crested Cockatoos

We are fortunate to live close a neighbour who feeds Lorikeets most nights. There are always a few cockatoos hanging around looking to join in as well. Most of these are sunset shots.

I was visiting my cousin in Sydney a year ago, the lorikeet colors are stunning!

I especially like your third shot.

Thanks. They are amazing. I am about to post some close ups of one feeding in our garden tree. When it goes up you can see that the breast feathers are like a Cezanne painting. All I have to do now is find where i saved them. oops.

The only times I see these birds in my neck of the woods is in a cage. It is great to see them out in their natural habitat. Well done!
