This recent post from Clients From Hell, cracked me up!
CLIENT: My fiancé and I are unhappy with the engagement photos you sent us.
ME: Whats wrong with them?
CLIENT: Were wearing sweat pants in them!
ME: But thats what you wore to the shoot. I asked you on the day if you wanted to change into something more appropriate and you said no.
CLIENT: Well, I didnt know you were going to leave them in the actual photos. Youre a professional photographer - youre supposed to Photoshop better clothing onto us or whatever.
ME: Thats not really what I do, nor is it really how Photoshop works
CLIENT: Dont lie to me! Ive seen what Photoshop can do in magazines and stuff like that. Its not my fault you dont know how to do your job properly!
Whoever ME is in this exchange, he/she should have seen this coming when the client wouldn't change clothes at the photo shoot.

WOW - I've been reading some of the horror storied on the site -
From my experiences in customer service, I knew there were ID10T's out there, but these folks really take the cake.
And to think they vote too...

And "ME" should have realized: "I don't think the engagement shoot will work. And I know I don't want to shoot this wedding!"
Yea, the sweats would have been a big RED FLAG for me.

And yet when I respond to people who inquire what kind of photography I do they say "Oh, and weddings and stuff" when I go through my list of what I will shoot and when I say "No, I'll do just about anything other than weddings" they look at me like I'm crazy. Case and point right here, this is one reason that I wouldn't do a wedding.

I'm a handyman now - so many diy shows on tv that when the customer starts asking how I do things and suggesting what to use I generally find that I have a previous appointment.
As a Qualified Chef I would stand my ground when faced with an idiot ignorant customer. It didn't particularly work but chefs are expected to do lots of shouting and gesticulation.
I am looking at becoming a more comercially active photographer. Sticking to landscapes and nature when those start arguing then its time to simply run........
Did this really happen????!!???
Surely not??

And that my friends, is precisely why I don't photograph people.
I wonder if the marriage worked out?
I hope it was made up but dealing with people and their cars, wouldnt surprise me if it is true.

Nice avatar Racin17. Blown Hemi, dual mags, tube chassis, w/ Valvoline sponsor....Nice rig.
Favourite one - after submitting wedding photos to the client for review the wife said her hair was not the right colour and could I correct that - her platinum dyed blonde made her look 'cheap'!
One born every minute but to allow these people to marry and reproduce from that gene pool should be illegal.
My late wife did graphics works. She once had a client that asked her to remove someone's head from a photo so she could see what was behind it...
