I saw that.

It's sickening that a Commander In Chief not only holds, but openly exhibits, such disdain for the military...

"A veteran is someone who, at one point in his or her life wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.' That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country now who no longer understand it."

My total disrespect and dislike for this president of ours continues to exceed all expectations. Obama should spell his name L-O-S-E-R because that is what he is. He commands no respect from me nor should he from any other American. He has a sense of priorities like no other person I am aware of.
Even hardened Democrats must be ashamed of this fool.

These are his people!
Besides I wouldn't want anything to do with the POS at my funeral.

Well it looks like you were lied to again and believed the lie!

From Stars and Stripes:

A cannon boomed across the hallowed grounds of Arlington National Cemetery as a two-star general killed in an insider attack in Afghanistan was buried with full military honors.

The somber ceremony for Maj. Gen. Harold J. Greene included a riderless horse following the caisson — an honor given to an Army or Marine Corps officer ranked colonel or above — and was attended by more than 100 mourners.

U.S. Army Chief of Staff Gen. Ray Odierno presented the flag that had covered Greene’s casket to his widow, Susan Myers, a retired Army colonel. Odierno then presented three more flags to Greene’s son, Matthew, a first lieutenant in the Army; his daughter, Amelia; and his father, also named Harold.

The burial was preceded by a chapel service that was closed to media. Lt. Col. Juanita Chang, an Army public affairs officer, said the 650-seat chapel at Arlington was filled beyond capacity. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel attended and met with the family.

I don't consider any of those people, even Chuck Hagel as a representative of the Obama Administration. General Odierno is the Army Chief of Staff and would most likely gone for personal reason. Likewise, Secretary of Defense, Chuck Hagel. Get it, Secretary of Defense. In my opinion This fine man, General Greene, was slighted and therefore so was America.

Saw a long list of people who did not attend the General's funeral in the paper this morning. Saw a longer list of people that had comments and visits to the funeral in Ferguson.

I have only one question at this point. With all that has happened in the last 6 years, why would you want the people who did not attend the General's funeral to show up in the 1st place? I for one am thankful that the General's funeral was not spoiled by their presence.

The Army Chief of Staff is not a White House position, so I wasn't lied to.
