A rather slow macro Saturday. Saw something I've never seen before, an earwig on a flower. I thought they kept to the ground. Subsequent Googling when I got home noted some are omnivores. Managed a shot of an egg. Not sure what it's from, perhaps someone in the forum will know. I wish I had taken the MP-E today as the egg was tiny an a 100mm on tubes just didn't do it justice, a 4:1 shot was needed to show good detail.
earwigs make such good subjects if you can get one to hold still.your are really good shots!
nice shots! The egg in both shots seems to float, but that can't be. But it sure looks like it for some reason.
Nice shots on the earwigs!
I only see Earwigs on dirty, man made structures. Yours must wild ones  :D
These are all great shots as usual
very nice selection, this time drawn towards your artsy fartsy shot
.... Note to self more beer and football needed
Most unusual and excellent pictures of the earwig. I have no idea what that egg might be.
Very nice series. Egg shots are great.

Thanks Tom, they do make good subjects. First time in a long time I went with the spray and pray strategy. This bugger was a ball of energy. Must have took fifty shots to get the ones I posted.

Thanks Piet, the egg was lifted off the petal on the bottom. This picture shows it somewhat. Like a protective doughnut at the bottom of the egg...
