I'd say itchy trigger fingers, these cops have to be stopped. They'd never shoot to kill a white person for a crime under $5.00. Disgraceful on their part, this isn't the Wild West. :-(

Since you seem to be so brilliant, maybe you can enlighten us as to how the police officer's eye socket was broken.

Seems to me they haven't released this info yet, but you crucify the police and place a criminal on a pedestal.

Saying the cops have "itchy trigger fingers" without all the facts shows you are no better (than the Ferguson looters) by spreading gossip and lies.

I don't put anyone on a pedestal. A cop is an employee of the people, nothing more. Usually dummies. I don't know the info and neither does anyone else here. I thought it looked like the picture must have been photoshopped when the killer cop was standing over the dead body. He didn't look like he had blood on his face but maybe somebody wiped his face. (?) I'm not any better than a Ferguson looter because I said I don't know the information? Or because I said they have itchy trigger fingers? LOL

I'd say if you killed two people in just a small bit of time and so close, there is problems within the police force and they better weed out the bad apples. Give a man a badge and a uniform and he forgets he's just a cop, bus driver, rent-a-cop, etc.

It is obvious that you hate cops. "Usually dummies". (Did somebody get a speeding ticket recently?!?)

You are no better than the looters because you place blame without knowing the facts. Looters choose to wreak havoc on their community and you mouth off and spread your bullshit opinion and hope your minions swallow your kool-aid. Neither action is appropriate. In fact, the friend of the dead guy is in trouble for possibly starting the rioting by lying about what happened.

I'm not siding with the cop, though we have no proof that he broke any laws. I'm not siding with the dead man, though we do have proof that he was a criminal.

I'll wait until the complete story is released before I make a judgement on who was wrong here.

Take heed of your Robin Williams quote. It can happen for good or bad.

You say you have know idea who is right, yet you have chosen a side and you choose to spout off about it.

"I can give as good as I get. You may want to remember that." What the hell is that supposed to mean?

It means if you want to show your superiority, go for it but not without a fight.

What the f is wrong with you two guys. Calm yourselves.

Personally I have never understood why a cop, probably wearing body armor, has to shoot to kill a man with a knife. That, to me, is outrageous. With the stopping power of police officer's weapons (they ain't carrying .22 caliber), a shot to the leg, the shoulder, would disable any man with a knife. No need to fire multiple shots in his heart area. F'g sick.

Cop culture is a weird society populated by a lot a weird people. They take the shine from the good ones. And they protect their own. Blatant lies are the norm, but distorting truth is also a favorite tool. The new cop modus operandi is to confiscate any all all cell phones at a "situation" if they can. And then, drop in liquid. No witness filming allowed.

What is wrong with me?

I have a problem with people who blatantly spread lies and misinformation.

"I'd say itchy trigger fingers, these cops have to be stopped. They'd never shoot to kill a white person for a crime under $5.00."

Very few cops have "itchy trigger fingers"...nation wide. They wouldn't be cops for long if they just went out and shot people willy nilly.

As for shooting someone for a $5 crime.... Most reports say the cop had no knowledge of the strong armed robbery the dead man had earlier committed (according to the video). If that's true, how could he shoot someone for a $5 crime if he didn't know it had been committed.

Cops are taught to shoot to kill. I've questioned that tactic myself. If a cop has to use his weapon it is usually to protect himself or the lives of others.

If the (now) dead guy was coming back at the cop, like some reports say, then maybe the cop was protecting himself. He did, after all, have a broken eye socket (that was not protected by his body armor) that may have been caused by the (6'4", 290 lb) man he shot.

Will the cops lie when the final report comes out? Maybe, maybe not.

Will the witnesses lie about how the cop shot the guy. YES! The dead guy's friend is now under investigation for lying. He said his friend's hands were up and the cop shot him in the back. We now know that those statements were not true.

The lie about being shot in the back may be what started the riots in Ferguson.

When a certain individual enters these types of discussions the conversation "dijenerates" into a progressive puddle of puke. Save your time trying to reason with them as it is futile and impossible.

Three sides to every story:

1. Yours

2. Mine

3. The whole damn truth
