Sony NEX C3, almost like new

All sold 8/25/14.

I have held this NEX C3 as a backup to my NEX 5r, and it has rarely been used. Now I am moving up to A6000, so the 5r will be the backup. I have the silver body, a silver 18-55, the original box with manual, CD and all papers, flash, and almost-unused battery. Add to this a hot shoe which plugs in in place of the tiny flash. There is an AC-DC charger that can plug into the wall or your car.

I would say "like new", but there is a faint blemish on the LCD, which is not visible when the camera is on. So I must settle for "Almost like new."

The C3 was the first upgrade from the original NEX 3 and 5. It bumped up from 14 to 16.2 mpx and made the tiny body even smaller. They simplified the controls to attract beginners but didn't compromise picture quality. It is a fine beginner camera and backup to your more advanced body.

$128 for body and all box contents; $118 for lens with petal hood and caps; $240 for both, priority shipping to CONUS included.

Manual does not mention raw but official words from Sony say that it does.

No, but it was very low. As you can see above, the camera has a happy new owner.

Remove the battery; wait a minute. See what happens when you restart.

There is a more detailed manual on the CD. See what it says about errors.

Good luck,

Paul

Joe~ Ovrnight thoughts: Try starting with the lens removed. Gently rub the electrical contacts on body and lens with a pencil eraser and blow away the dust. If you have another e=mount lens, try it. Change memory cards. Go to menu>setup and reset the camera to factory default.

If no avail please contact Rick Riggins, http://www.discountcamerarepair.com/ the highly respected repairman for UHH. I will pay for repair if performed by him but by none other.

I know you are frustrated and disappointed. Let's hope for speedy solution.

Paul
