This little bugger was so shiny, it reflected light like a mirror! The legs have more hot spots than there are fleas on a dog! Although the body appears to have many hot spots also, if you view the "download" you will see some are very white markings. Nature is colorful at times.
I'm having a blast with the 180 ( still working on illumination!)

Thanks for the nice comments, Brenda. I think the flower is similar to Queen Anne's Lace. It does add a welcome splash of color.

Wow, never seen an assassin like that before! Looks like it belongs in a carnival or circus with those markings. Very nice catch!

Thanks for looking in. Many predators like to blend in, hide & wait for prey to come by. Maybe the bright colors help attract prey so they don't have to hide.

Thanks. The viewfinder seems to be brighter with the 180. I'm doing much better with manual focus with it.
These guys seem to always be on the move & as you stated, hard to maintain focus on. Thanks again for your comments.
