A bug and his reflection

I recently purchased an inexpensive extension tube combo. I saw this little critter looking down at me from a garage window. He volunteered to be my first model for really up close and personal shooting. He didn't seem to mind the intrusion into his space.

Nikon 85mm 1.8 @ f-16
36 mm extension tube
ISO - 200
1/80 sec hand held

Flash from yn-560iii @ 1/16 power, also hand held. Image scaled for web display but not cropped.

I believe I will still prefer to shoot people. To me, this guy has a face that only his momma could love.

Thanks for viewing and for the comments Pam, Mike and Linda.

Thank you also, Leicaflex. If not for the flash stopping motion, I'm sure camera shake would have easily made the shot unusable. One handed shooting at awkward angles is not my forte.

Thank you. And, I'm sure his family considers him quite handsome. If it is, in fact, a him and not a her.

Wonderful catch!
Remember, even a warthog finds true love!
Hell I even found a wife or two!
