Two very nice pix !! Would you object if I "file" them for my own enjoyment and inspiration? Please say no--help yourself.

Understand the problem. When I was a computer programmer, someone would ask for a program that would do such and such. I would write the program and it would do exactly what they asked, but I would look at it and think, "This would look/work better if I just added this feature." Eventually I would get to the point where I had "improved" it so much it would quit working and I would have to start over.

I always fall back to something Yogi Berra said. "If the world was perfect, it wouldn't be."

Hi djw60: As my olderst daughter puts it " There is a fine line between a hobby and mental illness." Hmmm I wonder where photography fits in there? Some times I think all of us who have a passion for photography are just a little nuts...lol.. You strive for perfection.. While I would be happy if I could even achieve excellence...
Maybe your daughter is right!! Haha I don't really strive for perfection, it just seems to keep calling to me! Ha......maybe I am crazy!

Oh So True!!! My art is expressed in more than one medium. Acrylic, coloured pencil, photo, etc. One of the most difficult things to learn is when to stop.

And unfortunately, what is perfect to you, may not be what is perfect to your client's eye or the eyes of other viewers of your work.
As they say, "What is the true definition of sanity that insanity is compared to?" In this case, "What is the true definition of perfection that imperfection is compared to?"

Hey--fellow "hogs" want to see a couple of DANDY pix ? Go to page two of Photosbywick. He has two pix that should be in a gallery.
Note to Mr Wick: Try changing your handle to PICBYWICK ;-)
