If you hadn't documented what happened, I would have thought this was a rope caught on that poor osprey :)

With my SX50, I've had way more opportunities to shoot raptor poo than I ever wanted :)

I'd call it a great shot, but to be honest, it's really pretty crappy. LOL

Knowing birds anatomy as I do, I think our raptor friend got caught up with some sort of fishing cord. On double magnification I can see the twists in the cord. That is a great shot Greg, the download is amazing. Thanks for sharing. :-D :thumbup:

However after 2nd,3rd, and 4th looks, I think he swallowed a cord and just got rid of it. I would like to have seen the after shot to see if there was anything connected. I'm afraid he was trying to tell you something. :-D :thumbup:
