Your EF-S lenses will not work on the 6D.

For video, I would keep using the 70D, because it has a better video/live view hybrid AF system

You will find the low light capabilities of the 6D to be superior over the 70D. You will have expanded iso and the ability to shoot in HDR plus many other features.

There is currently another price drop, they have recently come way down in price. Enjoy your purchase.

The 70D was designed from the bottom up around video ......... keep it.

The 6D is superior for stills as it is FF .........

I own a 70D and will be purchasing a 6D as well. I'll use them both as each has it's strong points.

Keep in mind the 70D is cheaper to buy lenses for, in good light the lens selection for the 70D is just fine. In low light the 6D will be more forgiving and the lens assortment is larger than what is really designed for the 70D.

Keep them both

Good, then don't really have lenses you'll miss using with the 6D.

Nothing really significant to miss, just go have fun. You'll get used to the field of view difference pretty quickly.

:hunf: We really need a green with envy emoticon, guess this will do.

I have the 6D, love it, would like the 7D as a second body, but 70D would do also. The Tamron 150-600 is probably the next lens I save up for.

Hi B Hollars

The 6D is a ok camera for an entry level full frame Canon camera. As mentioned above you will have more capabilities! AF tracking is no where as good as a 7D or the 5D Mk lll. it should be a great camera for Weddings, Stills, Landscapes.
