Before you purchase you might want to find out which class cards they are and if they are fast enough to handle your camera's download speed and format volume. Memory cards are not all alike.

What is really critical is the transfer rate- MB/second. The class rating is primarily for video cameras. My Nikon D7000 has a transfer rate around 30MB/sec. The buffer on the camera will run out quickly if you are shooting 6 frames per second!

That website only exists to make money off the advertising there, they actually sell nothing. The cards you are looking at have to be bought from BuyDig.com.

We need to find a website page featuring a chart that defines memory card characteristics. We can then add a new page to our pending FAQ list.

Huge amount of information!

What speeds are recommended for digital cameras in various recording modes? Such as 6fps and video.

The two mentioned Lexar cards are 32Gb memory, and rated 4 for speed.

More info for Video is found here.

To sum it up, the Video recorder documentation should describe the type of card to be used.

Yeah, these are class 4's. Ok for some P&S, but I have a Canon t2i. I find the class 10 works great and I got my 8 gigger for about $24. Due to sometimes shooting HD video or taking multiple fast action shots (burst).

This (IMO) is a decent deal:

hi how do you find out the class. I thought that the only decision you had to make was how many gigabytes, but now I'm confused. how do find out the class? is there anything else I should look for before I buy? thank you :)

I would be cautious about ordering from this place. They do not appear in the ResellerRatings.com database. That means they are probably a brand new site with no track record.

The class is written on the card, normally in a circle with a number written in it.

Looks like they are Class 4. You need Class 10 for fast recording. To good to be true....Yes because of the 4
