How sweet! Great photo and brings back a lot of memories.
I rescued 3 mini-donkeys and had them for about 10 years. Unfortunately I lost 'Mama' to old age ... a very difficult day, lots of tears. Found a good home for the two remaining minis and for the rescue horse I had because of my health and age ... but I still sit looking at the empty pasture and miss hearing their braying, watching 'Baby' stand on a log with a little smirk on her face ("look at me, I'm TALL!") and having them try to work my wallet out of my back pocket when I went to feed them. Sweet, sweet animals.

Thank you! This was taken at the state park outside Rapid City, South Dakota. There is a very large herd of wild burros in the park. One of the most colorful group I have seen.

It is amazing how animals impact our lives. God knew what He was doing when he blessed us with them. I am very pleased that this photo has brought such pleasant memories for you.
