Several views of the same thing, which do you like & why? Trying to learn pleasing composition. Thank you.
They are all fantastic. If I HAD to pick one, it would be #3. The color, composition and the reflection of the clouds, the DOF. Keep more coming!!!
# 3 for me also, though I like the sky in #1 better. I would lighten the sky a tad in #3
Yes, no. 3 has it all - forground, middle ground reflection, and backround - Well done !
What a spectacular scene!
#1 and #2 have gray water, no reflections - so they don't match up to the other two. Also, the featured mountain in background is directly in center, not as pleasing to me.
#3 is stunning! Maybe slightly cropped sky (and lighter) to keep your eye on the water and flowers, and the painted mountains behind that lead into the distance.
#4 is a close runner-up. I like that you pulled back a little, got more varieties of flowers and moved the biggest yellow flowers to left side. I'd also crop a smidge of sky out of that one.
A slight crop gives additional benefit of having a wider aspect. For me, big landscapes look all the more impressive at 3:2 or 16:9 :)

Definitely #3, I like it!
Deep rich blue sky, well defined clouds pop out at you, great reflection in water, good looking shot!

My pic is #3 just because the mountain point is off to the side, not smack in the middle.
...but they are all lovely!
Thanks everyone, appreciate all the advice, I agree with not having the mountain in the middle, and will work on the sky. Will watch that next time.
All good, but I like the top one the best. It has muted reflections of the clouds which help in not distracting from the other two elements of the picture - the flowers and the mountains.
composition wise 3...I like the clouds and the mountains the best...the lower part seems a touch warm to me, also, you can also recover some lost shadows in the green hill beyond the water, like shots 2/4.
Everyone has said it all; my pick is definitely #3
I'm going with the majority and sticking with #3. Best composition, best clouds and best reflections in the water. I also would adjust the color in the lake to be more blue than brown.
It could be a calendar shot then! Nice! Lookin' good!
