August the 10th was a great for shooting the Super Moon in a lot of places, but on the Texas gulf coast it was amazing. Not only was there a Super Moon but there was a super Sun Set. I was at my regular place for shooting birds and assorted wild life and I noticed the spectacular sun set. I took several shots and when the sun finely went down I turned in the opposite direction towards the Gulf and the super moon was just rising. What a super day for super photography. Hope some other people were as lucky as I was. What do you think.

Great captures. You can straighten the photos with photo editing software.
Not bad but if was me I would remove the power lines, poles and straight the horizon and the buildings.
I appreciate your joy at catching both a spectacular sunset and moonrise. Beautiful!
An easy straightening tool can be found in the free editing software, Picasa. The power lines would be a little hard to remove :) Here's the link for your download:
