A bit over saturated, yes and it's also on the 'soft' side.... Not a keeper, but great subject matter!

IMHO...no. The colors of the horses appear very rich to me. Very pleasing. Very subjective. Do you like how they turned out?

AS someone with a back pasture full of these long tailed pasture pigs, I like the shot. Does not appear over-processed to me at all.

You know your going to get many differing opinions. This photo appears to be a little on the dark side to me, depending on the glasses I'm wearing. Other then that it's good to go as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks Artiekay - I do like how they turned out - and I don't. I think I need to try again to bring down the browns - kinda looks like a painting to me - not really natural.

Yeah Bill - I know I'll get different opinions - but I look at what the opinion-giver has done themselves and make my own personal judgement of their opinion from that. If one asks for an opinion one should have a thick enough skin to take it. And BTW - thanks very much for yours!!!

Looks a little lightened. Grass is not quite the right color.

I like it its a little over saturated but that's what gives it
separation sort of a 3 D affect.
on a scale of one to 1 - to 10 I would give it a nine +

This definitely shows how subjective photography is. Both versions of this shot are great and each can be admired individually. When comparing them, though, I like your original post more. I like the richness of the colors on the horses. But as the photographer, you have the final decision on how you want to present this photo. Either way, it's a beautiful shot.
