I noticed in the last few days there have been a few trees posted. Some are very scarry and some are unusual.
This one is of a man in a tree. He wasn't spotted right off as I stopped my car and turned around to take another look. First I thought it was a lumber Jack that had gotten lost and was up a tree so to speak.
The picture speaks for itself. Also if you look real close you may even see an Eagle up the tree.

It was taken not to long after I had purchaed my camera used and was trying out a few shots that day. How did I do? Go ahead I have a thick skull I can take the heat!

this was shot in Menomonie WI. rt 12/25

There it is!

My biggest suggestion: crop this to a vertical format.

Thanks Nikonian Will try to get it out of an email I sent out to my son.

Wouldn't you just love to have that tree tucked in a corner in your back yard! I do see the eagle plus the lumberjack - what a talented artist created that. That's the sort of thing that makes me turn around and go back, too.

No points lost.

My biggest suggestion: crop this to a vertical format. By removing excessive background, you force focus to your subject.

Cropped to vertical format

Thanks for looking forbescat..I take it by your comments that perhaps you think the picture is ok...and when I took it I was not trying to win an award and had no idea that I would ever show it. But it is unusual indeed. And that is what I search for.

Thank you for the suggestion Nikonian. I posted this as something unusual and was not trying to win any award when I grabbed the shot. I may play with it at another time. Thanks again.
Buddy 36 And yes, I did ask everyone what they thought about it too.

No really I do appreciate the kind remarks. Did you notice the tree was shaped like a dog standing on his hind legs?
