Did you add a black line around the flower or is that some kind of artifact?
If possible you could darken the background, that would help the flower pop a little more.

Well, this black thing is likely due to a camera setting as this abnormal and basically destroys the image.
Focusing is in the rear petal and the dof too short. (5.6)

Right idea but maybe a little to much vignetting effect. I wouldn't go for total black in the corners. This is a personal taste thing though.
