If nothing else I'm totally happy. I worked 42 years so now I'm free like a bird. I have one small nest-egg left that's getting smaller every day with our crazy stock market and economy. I'm keeping my ear to the rumor mills about Nikon's D800 or D4. The D4 will be way out of my range but not the D800. It's due to be announced any day now. Equipment lust is growing.

I just found another reason why I've been missing messages. I was in making a comment and when I came back out that message that dimmed when I clicked on it to go in and comment was missing and there was another message arrival notification there in bold lettering. I think what I discovered was that when there's a post made while your in that same thread, your "forum" notification for the previous message is replaced with a new "forum" in bold lettering. I sure hope I made that clear enough and don't confuse anyone with the way I said it.

Equipment lust is a terrible affliction. We probably need something like AAA only ELWT - Equipment Lust Withdrawal Training.

Clear as mud but don't repeat it as I've been online since 2 a.m. this morning. It's time for me to get out from behind this keyboard. "Good night, and may God bless".

I don't miss work. Miss the paycheck but love the freedom!

I believe my problem is on my computer. I have noticed on my email page that I am getting lots of "Postmaster returns" when I check to see waht the problem is and find they are to people on my contact list but stuff that I did not send. No one lse has access to my machine, but a few months ago, I signed up for a program from Citrix which allowed you to access your home computer from your laptop over the internet. It was too slow for my needs and cancelled the subscription. I have a feeling that this program is something to do with it.

Ian, sounds like some spammer has hijacked your email address and is using it to send out spam messages en masse. You may want change your email address and close that one out with your service. I recommend a gmail account through Google. It's real easy to sign up, you get 7.5 gig of storage and they make a sincere effort to keep that kind of activity to a minimum and you can have more than one account. Others in here may have a different solution. That would be mine. I've had to do it for the same reason.
