I am planning some international travel to turky in april. I have a nikkon and a newbee to photography. Can someone suggest good travel lens? I have a 18-55 kit lens and a 70 to 300 lens

Are you looking to limit what you take to one lens or will you be bringing multiple? If multiple, what are your current lenses not doing for you? Most importantly, budget?

If you can afford another lens, and wish to double up on what you already have, buy the Tamron 18-270 it will give you about everything you'll need, all in one smallish lens.

That'll do it. Don't try to replace the pair with a single lens with a ridiculously long zoom range.

Yepperoo, buy the tamron 18-270 and you will rarely ,if ever, take it off when travelling.

Unless you think you need a low light lens like a 35 or 50 prime you already have all you'll ever need
