Thanks a lot to all you Oly owners who share your love for the little photo marvel. The front part of July I was thinking about my A7R and the couple lens that were available. Great equipment. Love it. BUT, then I thought about how I've been retired since the end of 1997; and in all that time I haven't had one customer order for a 30x40 or a 40x60! What in hell am I spending a gazillion dollars per lens to make my usual 8.5x11 or 16x20? And while the A7R body is small, the lens can still be a bit heavy. I decided that my Sony Lens stash could buy a whole Oly set-up with $ to spare. I now own a E-M5 with the 12-50 kit lens and a 12, 17, 25, 45, 60 Macro, and the 75. The whole set of lenses and camera fit inside a Canon shoulder bag that measures 8L x 5W x 6D; and weight just a tad under 6 lbs. With the camera and lens around my neck, I'm left carrying a big weighing 4 to 4.5 lbs. What a find! On top of all this, I'm delighted with the quality of the camera, the lenses and the photos they produce. The 16 x 20 hanging on the wall can't be told from the ones I've shot with the A7R or a previous Canon L lens, at normal viewing conditions. I'm sure that with pixel peeping a difference could be found in the files, but in the real world, the Oly produces really nice photographs. I'm thrilled to own the toy camera than CAN. And it's all because of you UHH guys who shared you love for the OLY. Thanks again guys.
Your welcome!

You have a really high quality "toy", which I suspect you will thoroughly enjoy. As an old-lady-photographer with back trouble, this little jewel has freed me to do what I enjoy most, take photos anywhere, as long as I want, without difficulty. I haven't run into any problems printing, did up a pretty big print last week to fill a window frame and it came out fine. You do have to be aware of noise issues with these little cameras, but if you shoot and process to minimize it, you can do pretty big prints. The tradeoffs are worth it to me.

Thanks Minnie. I'll probably probably never go bigger than 16x20, but those are very good quality. Glad to hear that you also enjoy the little camera that CAN! See ya. Lynn

Glad to hear you're enjoying yours also. Isn't it great to have small, affordable lenses that are sharp out to the edge?!
