Hi Steve. I do love #7, beautiful clarity. The bee looks like he had one too many, especially does #13, lol. TY for sharing.
Thanks, hope to see some of your images here soon. Or checkout some of my other threads. Psychedelic clouds, and Psychedelic magic are a couple.

Hi Fotosteve! Wow, I love your photos - 2,6,and7 are my faves! Flowers and bees make great photos! Nice color! Here are a couple of mine.
First two look like honey bees. I don't have any of those. I'll have to work on that. Very nice images. I have a Nikon D-90 w/ an 18-105mm. I have to admit and I'm sure it's obvious,PS comes into play sometimes. Oh look I found one I captured in Yellow Springs ,Ohio. He was trapped between the glass and poster. I did save him from his fate that day, though.

I'm glad to know that you saved him after taking his pic!!
Here are two of my favorites: I actually petted the second one - after I took the shot!
Now that I have recalled, the poster was loosely fitted and he didn't seem extremely confined, but alittle wisping of the poster set him free. Unforunately he was still in the store. I alerted no one. All he had to do was make the door. Hopefully,--- he did.

I would love to know how you do what you do...those are amazing, but I am too ignorant to know even where you start. I especially love the first one. Your collection is so eye catching. Vibrant. Saturated...I would do a whole room in them!
Thank you very much for you comment. As to how I do it, sometimes I don't even know. But here is a plus to imaging bees and the like. I have a deck that I plant houndreds of morning glories, poppies, and other flowers, around. I use a flash most of the time to stop the action, but not always. Sometimes slight movement can be appealing. I use a tripod from time to time, when I know that a certain bloom is attracting bees on a steady basis. But usually using the flash allows greater flexability. Zooming in and out. Oh did I mention the use of a zoom. Mine is 18-105. You can more w/ the bee and even anticipate it's next move. Shoot alot. I got alot of time on my hands in the early to mid morning. The best time in my garden to expose. Sometimes I will sit in my chair on my deck close to the blooms I think might have alot of activity. Drink coffee, or depending on if I'm still up from the night before, a beer,Ha,Ha--and wait. O.K., Next we go into PS. This is where I can't explain exact techniques. You just know when it's right. No individual image is done exactly the same. And many have differnt versions of the same image. If that makes any sense. Hope this tells you alittle about how I do it. It's fun.=OriginalCyn]
