HDR
(High Dynamic Range)
..is a set of techniques used in imaging photography to reproduce a greater dynamic range of luminosity than possible using standard digital imaging or photographic techniques.
HDR images can represent a greater range on luminance levels found in real-world scenes, from direct sunlight to faint nebula. It is often achieved by capturing and then combining different exposures of the same subjects.
Here are two programs :
oloneoHDRengine
Photomatix Pro.
Now I am well aware that this type of post processing is not every persons bag however even purists might want to wander into the Challenge if only just to see what it is about. There is another side light here, even if you do not like it, try one anyway and go onto a jigsaw site and they make great puzzles.

youve just worked for an hour and a half on Lightroom on a fave and now sit back, sip the last sip of a now cold coffee, stick you thumbs in your suspenders and say YESSS!. Whoa
.go click on an HDR site and you can weird out for another hour.
So. Hope youll learn a bit and enjoy playing around and as we say in Québec French, Ill go to bed a bit less dumb tonight
So much can be done , it is a time consuming and fun thing to play with
Looks like you are having WAY too much fun... great - hope to try some soon....time for bed here now.

Just gave a few a try today. The result of experimenting with a different process than stuffing images into a "instant HDR" program. My intent is more in the direction of Zone Exposure Fall processing to achieve a Placement of exposure values.

Ouch....you are good RR! The farm setting in green looks true to life. Not sure I will have time to play but will certainly be watching what everyone posts.

Might be tempted. I trust you have rainy days coming, Bertha notwithstanding.
I'm not sure I get a visit from Bertha. She might amble EU way well south of NS.-----Thursday.
;)
okay.....a couple.....I have tone mapping in my Corel Paintshop software that has a somewhat similar outcome of HDR.....and these are worked with a single jpeg image. If time permits I will work a true HDR using the three images.

Irene, thanks for taking a look. That was the intent, a more natural looking expansion of the tonal range. I appreciate you taking a look.

Very interesting, I havn't done alot of HDR work. I just tried one but may have overdone it a little.
Hey RR! I downloaded Oloneo and this is the first one I tried. I did not have 3 different exposures, but it worked anyway. I will get out tomorrow and try at least 3 exposures. Thanks for the challenge. I am sure we all will learn from this. Cheers!

O.K... I just went in and pulled a panorama of our courthouse and picked "Grungier". This is what I got..
