As the title says, Does the D600 have any kind of weather resistance?

Yes it is. Its the same level of weather resistance as the D7000 and D7100. Not D4 level sealing but still much better than nothing as the D3XXX and D5XXX series cameras.

yes but I wouldn't put it in water. Rain is ok.

I would think so Don, last fall I did a photo shoot at an outside event in almost 8 hours of rain with my D7100 keeping it under my poncho when not shooting. I had no problems and it still takes great pictures. :D

Don, from DP review:
The body is itself features magnesium alloy construction for its top and rear shell and Nikon claims weather-resistant and dust-sealing perfomance equivalent to the higher-end D800. All the external controls you'd expect to find are present, with mode and drive dials, front and rear command dials and ample array of buttons that put shooting controls within easy reach.
;)

I shoot with the D600 and I have not had any weather issues what so ever. I have also shot many Color Me Rad and The Color Run 5K runs and have used it for the last few. I had normally used my older D90 for shooting these events with colored powders and generally use a rain sleeve to help keep the powders away but often the rain sleeves get peeled off during hot days, including the fact that breathing into the plastic will start to fog up the viewfinder. Even with no rain sleeve, I have yet to find any traces of powder in the D600 but will find traces in the battery compartment of the D90. I have also shot in the rain and just finished shooting a beach wedding last weekend - all with no problems. (By the way, if you shoot at the beach, do use a filter on your lenses. Your glass will not fair as well under the blowing sand). Just my two cents with what experience I have with it.
