I like the composition of this photograph and the contrast between the background and the dark spider. A member suggested a closer crop so I have added one.

#1 for me. LOVE the image, for same reasons you mentioned - and I just think jumping spiders are way cool :)

Like the shot a lot Bmac, closer crop is super, looks like it's going to jump right at you, well done

Thanks Gregory. My goal is to someday get as close and as detailed as some of those amazing pros posting in the Macro Section. I will settle for the backed off composed shots until then. :D

I'm with Linda of this one. He looks a bit lost and bewildered on that big leaf. Makes him that much cuter. :-D
